Texas Coordinator for the Online Biographical Dictionary of the Woman Suffrage Movement in the United States

The Completed dictionary will contain three groups of suffragists whose biographical sketches are being published on the Women and Social Movements  site: black suffragists; National Woman’s Party suffragists; and NAWSA suffragists (primarily those whose names are listed in volume 6 of the History of Woman Suffrage  in 1922).

As Texas Coordinator, Dr. Gunter compiled a list of Texas NAWSA suffragists, assigned them to researchers, and collected the biographical sketches of National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA) suffragists. She was also instrumental in forging a partnership between the Handbook of Texas Women and the Online Biographical Dictionary, which are sharing biographical sketches.
